Specialty Focus

MV and HV Induction and Synchronous Machine Support

Medium- and high-voltage motors, both induction and synchronous, along with synchronous condensers, are among the most critical, most expensive, and least understood machines in a facility, and very few firms offer independent, owner-side support for them. 3P does, built on four decades of hands-on MV and HV motor experience.

Oil & Gas Electric Motors

Keeping the big motors turning

Oil and gas facilities, refineries, and midstream operations run on large medium- and high-voltage motors, both induction and synchronous. We provide independent specification, factory and field acceptance support, repair oversight, and reliability programs for these long-lead, mission-critical machines.

Data centers & grid stability

Inertia for the AI era

As AI compute drives rapid, large load swings, data centers and utilities are adding synchronous condensers for inertia, voltage support, and short-circuit strength. We help owners specify, commission, and maintain them so stability keeps pace with the load.

Anchored by four decades of hands-on MV and HV machine experience across refining and midstream operations.

About 3P Power Group

Field-driven expertise you can trust

We support data centers, industrial facilities, and mission-critical environments where electrical system performance is non-negotiable. Our role is to bridge the gap between design intent, construction execution, and long-term maintainability, ensuring systems are installed correctly, tested thoroughly, and operate reliably under real-world conditions.

When high-consequence events occur, we help clients assess failures, stabilize operations, and develop practical recovery and prevention strategies following electrical faults, equipment failures, and natural disasters. Whether it's new construction, a system upgrade, or an operational challenge, our focus stays the same: protecting people, preserving equipment, and ensuring systems perform when it matters most.

Leadership

Decades in the field, backed by a licensed PE

3P is led by the Perilloux family, electrical professionals who have spent their careers at the gear in refining, midstream, and mission-critical facilities, not just on the drawings.

Denver Perilloux, PE

Managing Director & Principal Engineer

A licensed Professional Engineer with experience spanning mission-critical operations, utility resiliency, industrial power systems, and major capital project execution. Most recently, he served on Amazon's Electrical Field Engineering team, where he led electrical utility reliability and resiliency efforts across Amazon's operational network. Prior to Amazon, Denver delivered major electrical and instrumentation projects across Marathon Petroleum's Gulf Coast refineries.

He brings a rare combination of design-grade engineering discipline and hands-on field execution experience, giving clients a practical, owner-focused perspective from design through commissioning. That same lens is central to 3P Power Group's approach: protecting the owner's interests, identifying risk early, and ensuring power systems are built, tested, and turned over with confidence.

Terry Perilloux

Senior Electrical Specialist

With four decades of experience at the gear, including 37 years with Marathon Petroleum, he brings the kind of electrical judgment that can only be earned in the field. Rising from maintenance electrician to Corporate Refining Electrical Reliability SME Manager, his career spans field execution, electrical safety, maintenance, reliability, and technical leadership across refining and midstream operations.

He has spent his career supporting the systems, standards, and decisions that keep critical electrical infrastructure safe, reliable, and maintainable. His perspective is grounded in real operating environments, where constructability, safety, reliability, and practical execution matter just as much as what is shown on the drawings.
